Our Story

My name is Ileene Cho, and I’m a pastry chef in New York City. My love for baking began in middle school in Fairfax, Virginia, when boxed mixes felt like the perfect place to start. I didn’t know how to bake, but I knew I loved making something for the people around me. I baked for my family, for my friends, and for any excuse to bring a little sweetness to someone’s day.

Seeing the joy it brought them and feeling how much I loved doing it, was the moment I knew baking would always be part of my life. What started as a simple hobby grew into more than a decade of professional training in some of the best kitchens, but over time I found myself wanting to return to where I fell in love with baking in the first place.

I wanted to bring that same joy back, to spark someone’s love for baking, or simply create the space to slow down and make something meaningful for someone you care about. To me, baking has always been about more than dessert. It’s about taking the time to create something together, sharing a moment, and making memories.

That’s why these mixes exist. They take the pressure out of measuring, scaling, and sourcing ingredients, so you can focus on what really matters, being present, having fun, and enjoying something sweet together. I hope they bring you the same joy they’ve always brought me.
